How to block Website by Web proxy in Mikrotik

In Mikrotik firewall router, We can block website and block download by using web proxy that using port 80. we can block : www.google, www.yahoo.com and more...

Before you start, make sure you have finished The Basic configuration first.

Step 1: Enable web proxy on the router

Go to Web Proxy Setting

Step 2: Block the web sites go to Access -> Add

For other web sites, please repeat step 2.

Step 3: Forward HTTP traffic to Internal web proxy by go to IP -> Firewall -> NAT -> Add

Then to go Action

Step 4: Protection your internal proxy. Go to IP -> Firewall -> Filter

Then go Action

It is done.

After that you can go www.yahoo.com and testing it.

It will work fine.
